kelsey was a 2-year-old girl
who tried to be strong
and live for as long
as she could
but her mother and her step-father
repeatedly abused her
being removed from her home
at one point in time
she went back
to her mother's care
once again
she fractured her collar bone
and both her legs
she could never walk again
she had bruises from head to toe
and one more beaten
she had to go
her mother
and her step-father
was sentenced for 30 years in prison
