Kept Within Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Kept Within

Rating: 4.8

Upon the canvas of my mind
Visions of perfection are confined
I try to translate and convey
But, brilliance strays and fades away

The rays that illuminate existence
Stop cold at the brink of persistence
Its presence is beyond my fingertips
Steadfastly locked into a partnership

It is my conclusion that not all things
Are transferable upon angel’s wings
Its loveliness keeps me gazing within
Destined to remain beneath my skin
