Kerry's Song Poem by Robert R. Railey

Kerry's Song

Kerry's Song

My rewards on earth have been plentiful and great
But deep in my heart the Lord is my only true love
And as I daily repeat this simple prayer,
I would gladly live again for God's glory and grace-
Until finally I get to live in His place
For if I ever had the choice I would do it all over again-
By praising God now, and always
And when the days of sunshine, or even darkness begin-
My Lord reminds me to think only of Him
And even though my years on earth have given me many fond memories,
Such as the love I have for my family and my fellow man, I look forward
To spending eternity with Him
For God's glory and grace-
I'd gladly do it all over again, until lastly I get to live in His place
But for now, my heart is happy and full and I have no regrets; and even
Though I'm thankful for the family that He has given me, the fondest love
That I have is for my glorious King who rests on His Heavenly Throne
