One might say of her she has done quite all right
For the Independent candidate Kerryn Phelps in Wentworth it has been a great night
A safe Liberal seat by the Australian Government lost
To the Liberal party and the Government this defeat comes at a huge cost
The next Australian Federal Election in time not far away
Six or seven months at most maybe April or May
Who they want as their Government for three years the Australian voters will choose
An election that the Liberal National Government are likely to lose
Kerryn Phelps her own history she did create
Disappointment for losers and winners always celebrate
The losing candidates in their campaigns gave it of their best
But were found to be wanting when put to the test
October the twentieth tweny eighteen was Kerryn Phelps big night
In the Wentworth By Election she did more than all right
