I could not rejoice in the unveiling
Of their killer technology
Which with great fanfare had been announced publicly

A means by which death would be dealt to those perceived as an enemy
Targeting Children, Women and Men is easy
Using joy sticks to execute remotely

Screams of horror cannot be heard from the real time live footage
Only a flash, smoke and flames are seen rising from pummeled rubble
