Killer Whale Poem by Daniel Richmond

Killer Whale

Rating: 3.5

The power of nature, best viewed from afar
Like the hammer of God with a wrecking bar
Because to be too close, is to know fear the most
Not fear of death but a life that is toast
Those very few who lived to tell their tale
Of a volcano, a tornado, or a killer whale
Stared at death and a life before their eyes
You see they now live life...just a little more wise
