Kiss Goodbye.... Poem by RIC BASTASA

the goal is to look
at all these sad realities
in a new way,

find a better language
to describe what could have been
be,
or ought to be, or just be

themselves in themselves as they
all used to be,

for the meantime the goal is to
speak and to spit all these out
into the sky,

later, something better may come,
arrive with all grace,

something someone we can all hug
and kiss goodbye...without bitterness
at all.....
