Kiss Her Photograph Poem by Uriah Hamilton

Kiss Her Photograph

Rating: 5.0

Her eyes confide to me
Inexplicable mystery,
Like time travelling
Through the corridors of history
To discover an ancient goddess unseen before,
Something wonderfully simple-hearted
But also exuding pride and contempt.

Did she understand
What I meant
When I told her
I could kiss
Her photograph?

The joyous vicarious experience
Of touching her face in a dream!
