You are the knife. I'm the bark.
You carve love on me and makes me shine.
You send tingles to my heart and shield me from harm.
But it also come with bad, that I never expect.
Maybe I was a fool, a fool in love.
With the love you carved, it left me scars.
A permanent mark, that stays,
And reminds of the day, so painfully happy.
A very nicely penned poem, especially for one so young. Thanks

Very good imagery, intense poem! Good rhyming! Watch where you add (s) ! (loves - love) (makes - make) (its - it) (remind - should be remind(s) . Your writing is remarkable, surprising me with your eloquence of imagery and thought! Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn
