Know For Now Poem by Robert Rorabeck

Know For Now

A day behind the curve of now:
A rainbow waiting through the snow: words that slips
Like sleeping minnows beside the prow:
All the kings buried on the pyres that somehow sail
Between the waves,
Like the leaping apathy of a church full of show:
Women silently undressing before a mutating crowd,
Sparrows in orbit tempting the bow:
I wish I was beautiful, but this is all of beautiful that
I know for now.
