Lady I'M Learning To Love Poem by Leslie Alexis

Lady I'M Learning To Love

Dear lady, whom I’m learning to love
You’re simply beautiful, hailed above,
One, not two, this I think you are
You are my sun not an ordinary star.
In days and ways in simple words
You make me fly free, like lovely birds
To express self in written thoughts to you
I see us building something beautiful
And true. Though the times allow us
Not to meet, in my heart you take a
Permanent seat. Filled with you, for none
Can replace, the mirrored love I see
In your perfect face.. Built so lovely,
Just for me: our meeting was fate
Our friendship and love, destiny.
