Lady With A Beautiful Smile Poem by JJ Evendon

Lady With A Beautiful Smile

I see a lady smile.
Is it for me,
or her daughter?
Intoxicating.
Radiant.
All thoughts captured by a singularity of expression.
A natural display of happiness and joy.
An authoress of many words.
For me, there can be only one:
friend or lover?
I'm not sure!
Only time has the answer.
So I smile back and let fate decide!

A nice story with a big question. Smiles are always nice, but I guess they can be confusing especially if: 'Is it for me, or her daughter? ' Which means: 'I'm not sure! ' When not sure what a smile means, it is probably best to wait a little to see what's next? And yes, smile back, it probably can't hurt. I'm curious to hear more about this story?
