Lamottes Cool Christmas Poem by Michael K

Lamottes Cool Christmas

Oh the smell of Kielbasa,
the cheeseball galore.
One stick of butter,
has me wanting for more!

While Joe keeps them busy,
and they fawn over Sam.
I'll scour the table,
and get what i can.

MMMM, that aroma from the garbage,
oh what can it be? ! ?
I'll just poke my head in,
and take a look see.

While caught up in the moment,
in awe and in wonder.
'GET OUT OF THAT CAN'! ! !
i heard in a thunder.

So off to the living room,
i make my way.
To beg food from Linda,
Millie, Shelly, Gina & Jay.

The house is so full,
of family and good cheer.
Hasn't been so,
since my loving grandma was here.

Decked out in my Claus cap,
fresh tie & cool shades.
One glance at pops large smile says,
sweet memories were made.

So said with great confidence,
tho temps be as late spring, or fall,
I Lamotte Blackman do testify...
