Land Of My Heart Poem by Prachi angel

I feel loved when I see the deep blue sky...
The moon, the sun, the air & the stars take me back to the land of my heart.
The place where my holy father resides..He who catches me whenever I fall & takes me back to the land of my heart...
I keep running to chase love which would wilt after few years..
I loved...Oh...it hurts..!
I remember how much I cried, waiting for you...
Thinking that you would come one day with hopes & would never go...
You came one day but you could never make me feel complete....
Yes..we were together..but there was no love to bind our souls..

With the burden of these hollow relationships I acquired all these years I closed my eyes & I was on my own once again..

Oh..my bleeding heart, its not you..its me, I had to let you go..
As this pain was ripping the wounds of past.

Today at the crossroad of life, I close my eyes again & look for my holy father who was always standing there for me in the form of a good friend, a genuine smile & a b'ful dream...

Oh..why was I running away from myself...
Why was I crying all these years....?

Its no one's fault..
Sometimes it just happens..that life comes to a halt..

Today I run for myself without any fears....

Because I am going back to the land of my heart....!
