Beautiful Love and beautiful poem! ..........and this shows what a loving heart our Dear Greenwolfe's. A great tribute to all the true lovers! I have to pick up the yellowing, sweet smelling novel again! ........and USSR banned this.. and.....Faiz Ahmed faiz also jailed! How love is crushed and again it blossoms. The life itself! |

The languid look of Lara and the way she is betrayed, , , , , , , , , , Lara to me is the soul of Russia in the novel andby extension the humanity, , , , , , , , only if Boris Pasternek had told us what happened next, , , for if he could bring her back to life then? , , yes lovers will sing songs for her for all times to come, ,1962, you have chosen a worthy inspiration for yourself, , , |

When an icon sparks inspiration and a love poem is written about an enduring love then volumes pour out through the words and the feelings which is spoken forever.Beautiful tribute to Lara. And a very good movie.******************************* |

A great poem and it seems that you loved her more than Yury...........Lara is a wonderful character in the movie and the book too, merits should go to Boris Pasternak definitely. |

I wish I had the time to comment on all the poems I've read so far but the day is just to short and busy. So far I'm not dissapointed for every poem I have read so far of yours has been a pleasure. |

Oh this is filled with so much love... Such a tender story from your opening stanza to the end... This is trully I feel one of the best I have read by you, I am so sorry I have not read this sooner. Enjoyed the theme of an enchanted love affair....

Love exudes from this one and it is happy and sad all at the same time. A joy to find and read. I would give a 10 for every one of your poems I have read today.
Love and hugs Ernestine XXX |

Interesting -
I don't recall that I've yet seen Dr. Zhivago - perhaps it would be a good choice to watch with my Russian wife? Then I'll be better able to relate to Lara's character.

Boris wrote a great book, which became a great movie too. Your poem does justice to them both and also Lara. Bob |
