Life is cruel
Life is pain
Life is nothing
But guilt and shame

It leaves you broken
It leaves you cold
It leaves you weak
And makes you fold

It pushes you in directions
You don't wish to go
It leads you blindfolded
So that you'll never know

It's mean and it's heartless
Controlling and vain
But I'm giving up
I won't be a part of this game

I'm quitting right now
I've finished the race
And now you can see me
