I thought of becoming saint
and painted such picture
simple life with high thinking
assertively inking views across

I considered them architect of moral standard
and many time exchanged words
but soon got illusion
with so much of confusion

as news reports were pouring in
i was shaken with my belief
are these people really God's messengers?
it was adding hatred and anger

lavish living and that too in company with females
giving lectures on ancient tales
with religious fervor and authority
they sometimes were calling incarnation of an almighty

they have mastered an art of deceiving
the followers, like herds of sheep, were simply following
their misdeeds were hidden in calculated manner
but it soon was to appear on forefront

the wealth, big religious mansions for worshiping
these all were keeping
them control over mass
and here we were loosing the trust
