As an observant Jew, I took to your first line, but add another 1,000 years to the mix. Learn is good, I'd add remembering too, but what is truth? It's hidden from all of us, not only from the 'many' in my opinion. But if we don't learn you are right, we are destined to return to the wilderness (at best) .
