to those who said too much
to those who never said enough
to those who made true heartfelt effort

effort that was never enough for desperate need
because we made the effort tried though not enough
the sincerity kindness good will meant was enough

a few words thoughts kindness given cannot
always mend broken hearts lost souls in need
but when we give try with all our honest heart

this giving caring is enough because we can give no more
some choose to remember unfortunate words events errors
some choose to misinterpret deliberately falsify the truth

some suffer pain torment
heartache so intense
they cannot be reached

some choose to be emotion vampires
sucking in sympathy preying on kindness
enlarging problems attention seekers

some are lost in anger rage despair depression
so deep so dark they fall without footing held
some need to learn grace healing power of God
