Change is something I use to fear
Yet now I've learned to embrace it
Tragedy use to follow me everywhere
Yet now all I see is light
Time and time again I fell
Yet now I have been able to pick my self up
With time you witness so much change
So many fears Have melted away
And yet new ones are born as you grow
The fear that the love in your life wont grow
To continue to be the same and never change
Yet you yearn for some kind of growth
At least in another year or two
Can you not help but crave change
Can you not wish that things would grow
If something so pure stays in the same position
how can it flourish or burn
A constant state of mind can kill
So forgive me if I seem a little distant
If I seem to yearn for so much more
I can't help it if I love you
I can't think of anything more I want than to be with you
To wake up in your arms, touched by your soul
To feel my heart beat race when you kiss my lips
To know when I come home, you'll be in my bed
So is it negative to think ahead in time
To dream that you and I will be together still
A year and a half has flew by
I'm happy with where we are now
However, I want to see a better life for us
One where we can grow into each other
Why do you simply focus on the here and now
Have you not thought ahead of time
Do you not think that maybe we can last
With everything that we've been through
Can you not see me still standing by your side
If time is something you cannot focus on
And if your not ready to take a new step forward
Than allow me to take your hand and show you
How breath taking we can truly be
