Leave Me Poem by Jessica Marie beerbubblebaby Madrazo

Leave Me

Rating: 5.0

Leave me, I beg of you.
For I loose all strength from the mere sight of you.
My legs are too weak to walk away from you,
my heart would stop should it let go of your hand,
so leave me love, I beg of you.

When I decided to love you, I knew I could not leave you.
If only I could be selfish and trap you forever in my embrace,
knowing you could never leave my kiss, I would.
But you know I could not, and so you love me more.
And I fall into deeper despair, for if you could not leave me,
I shall be yours in eternity, and you shall own me.
So leave me love I beg you.

And if from this I die, then it will be with burning triumphant pain,
and the tears at your footprints will be my joy,
the scratches on my knees my rest
for you have granted me this cry,
to know that I have never left you.
Leave me love, I beg of you.
