Leaving Poem by Rebecca Springsteen

Leaving

Rating: 5.0

She's finally gone.
I mean I should be happy
for her. Right?
Even when she would come up to me and
jump on mu chest and purr.
Even if she would lick my face and meow at me?
I will miss her.
She found a good home.
And a home in my heart.
