a tree
has been planted
near the cliff

I didn't know
how I walked beyond the edge
on you the branch extending
above the abysmal cliff

I hugged you hard
with my desperate arms
so you felt insincere love
from my shivery neediness
as I feared to fall down
in the bottom of nothingness

when I conquered my fear
I worried about you breaking
by the weight of my insincerity

I would leave you my branch
as I would find out
the true love
