Less Than A Second Poem by Ronnie Smith

Less Than A Second

Rating: 5.0

Discarded.
Crushed like a leaf.
Rendered formless
by the forces of physics
and nature and
our failure.

Of course we slow down
even stop,
to look, imagine
and share our moment
of silence.
Then drive on.
