Lesson From Azizi - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

Lesson From Azizi - Lincoln Park Zoo

I got a very closeup view
Of gorilla, Azizi's face
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo.
He had a stern look set in place,
As though he was telling me that
A close encounter of my kind,
Where I was up close staring at
Him, was annoying in his mind.
Azizi's point to me was made.
Just staring at his face was bad
Manners unthinkingly conveyed.
And a teaching moment was had.

Thanks Azizi for giving me
A lesson in propriety.
