I was raise to believe,
To be of service to others first...
Was what God intended,
For me to be!
And this I should not curse.
Or be hurt by misunderstandings,
Some may see to disagree.

And as I've grown older,
I'm glad those lessons taught and learned...
Has helped me come to realize,
To sacrifice my life in the giving...
A receiving of a happiness,
Will come to me deserved as earned...
With a peace of mind I'll find that's free.
