Let It Be My Life Poem by Jona PoloRamirez

Let It Be My Life

Today I am born and I know my destiny,
Yesterday was the day my life began to meander,
I will leave tomorrow alone - it will take its own time
To remember the day I encountered one life.

My hands are tied down - benevolence comes first,
A distinct philanthropist thinks our happiness is least,
We carry on from a distance noble in our deeds,
So we keep on surviving no matter what the day brings,
Keep up that good heart - a new life will be born
For there's always silver lining after every storm.

Let the gray colors of our hair be a witness
To our stubborn streak that never will concede,
Our inner thinking a guide to unfulfilled dreams,
And the normal beatings of our hearts
Be a pledge to our undying love.

Wake not to a day and think of what might have been
Look forward to a life so your loved ones can delight,
Think of today and let tomorrow walk your way
Have faith in your heart it will come back to carry you away.
