I wish I could say I know what to do
With all of these feelings I have for you
I want you to believe that I truly care
When you feel down I promise I will be there
You've built up a wall around your heart
Please let me help you take it apart
What I feel for you is truly not lust
you should know I am someone you can trust
The past is something we can never erase
We have to move on to an exciting new place
The feelings I have are honest and true
remember this when you are feeling blue
I want to get to know you in so many ways
I want to be with you to laugh and to talk
Just holding hands on the beach taking a walk
Can we try together and see what will be
Let's try to find happiness for you and me
I want you to remember all that I write
Comes straight from the heart late at night
