Let Me In Poem by Witch Baby

Let Me In

The powerful fire
That burns deep within my heart
How is it that you have changed
From a wild rampaging beast
To a simple flicker of candle light?

I read him Emily and Robert
I read him Pablo
The words reaching out
As if caressing my skin

I still love you
Without your defenses
Your head in my lap
Your hands clinging to me
Like a child

Your body is strong
But its your heart I want
Opening up to me
Like a morning glory

Your eyes like windows
Allow me to gaze into your soul
Let me inside
To see how far down we can go
