Let’s
Just be us

Okay?

You be you
And then I will just me

Who we really are
Not trying hard to please
Each other

Starting over again
Cleaning the slate

You be who you are
And I will be who I must be

So let’s
Forgive each other for all
The mistakes we have made

It is the only way
Letting you be you
And me be me

Accepting
Each other as we struggle
Through this life

You by my side
And me by yours
