Let's Be Serious Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Let's Be Serious

Let's be serious for a moment
This time of concentration is potent
If you waver and begin to giggle
All intent will surely fizzle

What disaster will descend upon us all
Surely the sky above shall fall
With grinning and laughter jiggling
Troubled thoughts could go swimming

Set free from the grind… less grumpy
The road ahead could be less bumpy
For just a moment… take a smile break
See what a relieving difference it makes
