Let Them Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Let Them

If people want to do as they choose.
Just let them.
Doing it to be made fools.
Just let them.
Do not say a thing,
To what they do to bring...
Upon themselves to face and solve.

If people choose to hit brick walls.
Just let them.
Even if on them bricks fall.
Just let them.
No matter what is said.
Thick are their heads.
Leave them left to plead and crawl.

If people want to dig their pits.
Just let them
Sit.
Until they quit.
Since nothing said,
Will stop them from doing...
A blaming others for their doing it.

Just let them,
To leave them...
Alone with their moans to groan on.
Just let them,
To leave them...
Alone with their moans to groan on.
Just let them,
To leave them...
Alone with their moans to groan on.
Let them.
To leave them...
On their own to it alone!
