Let Us Be A Good Human Poem by Surya Shaji

When I was thirteen
I went to abroad, first time.
A new world, new people and
Many unforgettable moments.
Buildings, reaching up to the huge cumulus clouds,
Roads, which are endless and,
Countless people, flowing all over,
Day and night, forever.
There, I met with so many people,
Who are far away from their homeland,
To make money and to feed their families.
But, still they smile at me, by hiding their sorrows.
I can see the sadness, hidden in them,
Through looking at their eyes and
The happiness, when someone comes
To share their thoughts with them.
Still, there are conflicts
Between countries all over the world.If
It won't bring anything to us,
But it takes everything from us.
If we all are together,
Without the barrier of nationality,
We can become the strongest force,
That can protect ourselves and the whole world.
So, stop thinking of fighting each other,
Be positive, think positive, feel positive.
Be a good human soldier,
And join in the army of God,
