Let us not be

Let us not be intolerant
And present ourselves
With cruel hatred
And be misled
We are born free
And so others too
They have rights as we have
So let us responsibly behave
Let us not suffer
The mental trauma later
And look at fellow brethren
With no concern
They might be poor and downtrodden
With no means to pull on
It becomes our duty to look after
And take personal care
We have suffered in past
And this dogma should not last forever
Even though nature too expects the same
Let us live peacefully and not blame others

Yes, we have suffered in the past and it is time we learn to love and live in tolerance despite the differences among us. Thank you for the dose of positivity. Keep sharing. Annapurna Sharma, Nellore, Mar 28,2018
