Let You In Poem by Katherine Bryce

Let You In

I hear your name,
and I no longer smile,
it makes all happiness,
escape the world.

I feel nothing anymore,
you just managed to,
ruin what I call,
my own little world.

Nothing you do,
calls to me,
not like it did,
ages before.

But life has changed,
and so have you,
honestly though,
what did you do?

I can't seem to,
understand how,
or why for that matter,
I let you in.

We had something,
but now we don't,
because all you did,
was ruin me.
