Letting Go Poem by Dan Brown

Letting Go

Rating: 2.8

So there you are, all dressed and pressed -
emotions in a box.
I seek the lid to put to rest
the ticking of those clocks.

You filled the hole that my words dug,
though lost a private part.
I'd die myself for just one hug
to heal my aching heart.

My love alone just could not tame
the things that grew inside.
And so the pain and darkness came,
no matter how I tried.

Our rivers take a different course,
'til yours meets with the sea.
I only hope that Nature's force
will sail you back to me.

I pray that peace has found you now,
to end your circus show.
You dropp the curtain with a bow,
but how do I let go?

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

that was kinda sad to me. and i can't really give or tell you what to do. all i can say is to tell you what i think you should do. if it was me i'll take the one i love. and tell him what i think and feel. give it one more chance. and if nothing happens. and he's still the same. then thats when i'll pack my bags and leave. but that's just me. and i'm sorry i'm not much of a help to you. but i'll give your poem 9 outta 10. good job. by: crystal sonier age: 15
