Laura Wilson
Letting Go
For so long my heart has been yours
complete trust to you i gave
only to be crushed in return
I need you not like never before
is your heart really in it or
do i need to go
I know you love me as a friend
always and forever that we shall be
but i have to stop loving you so
completely and open my heart for
another and give him the happiness
that should have been yours
This is killing me letting you go
but i deserve to be completely
loved in return
so please dont cry my dearest love
if you ever need me just give me
a call the door maybe closed but
i have left the window open.

well written poem on letting go of the love, that we had loved once. Close the window too. Pick up the courage to move on with the life without any strings attached! Nice poem, though sad it is inspirational to other human who are undergoing the same kind of situation, Laura Wilson!
