Letting You Go Poem by Shannon Martin

Letting You Go

Tears don't show happiness, nor do frowns
Broken hearts lead to open wounds
When you play games with my heart,
You take advantage of my feelings
It tears me apart.
Yet it seems to satisfy you.

If you dont' understand me, how can you relate to my feelings?
It hurts me, and still you don't care
Or seem to notice
There is no love here.

Letting you go, is like losing a part of me
But without happiness...What's left?
Letting you go is maybe the best thing for me!
