Liberty Statues Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Liberty Statues

Rating: 5.0

Fox never wanted cage or box
They are intelligent enough to create hoax
They shout constantly for danger
Repeat it several times for people to forgot their anger

Lion roars only once
Then wait for many days again for chance
Fox can afford and prefer connivance
Firmly believes that people can be cheated all the times

'People have short memory' some one claimed
'You go with tears and feel sorry'
Promise for clean administration
Take care for all firm steps in certain direction

All candidates are not successful engineers
Each one of them deserve not to be doctors
No one may prefer to be street beggar
So the race is on for vehicle without gear

Only one man can take you to the sea deep
Show the treasure and offers the dreams to keep
At heart for bright future and struggle hard
Never to be disheartened but look forward

Politicians need democracy
As it can only provide clemency
No politician can be termed as criminal
Until proved by judiciary upon verdict's arrival

We see many liberty statues all over world
Time has come to shift them in storage cold
We have cheated world community in disguise
Liberty as such is may need to await demise

Let it be mixed with strict punishment
No delay in justice and quick pronouncement
Some harsh steps may improve condition
Only people's anger may provide ignition
