I feel it tight in my throat
Crushing my chest
All that it is
This life filled with stress
Trying to keep my head above water
I'm drowning
Being pulled under
Your current is strong
Holding me down
Too much evil all around
Can I overcome?
This current this stress
Weighing heavy on my chest
I'll hold my breath
When you push me down
And spring straight up
In a single bound
I'll stand strong
On my own
Standing right in front of you
My two feet firm on the ground
Seeing my obstacles thru and thru
