A rose in the morning clear,
Greeting you with a smile so dear.
Blooming just to please you,
But the thorn, mind you.
So is life like a rose
A beauty when you see it so
Though it has troubles more
You sure can reach the shore.
Your life is like a treasure,
With all that gives you pleasure
Just like the rose in the morning dew
That looks so fresh and new.
Though life may have both sugar and spice
They make it all the more nice.
So, whatever it is, meet it
That’s life, Is’nt it?
Life is not a mere bed of roses, but also is full of thorns, yet one has to understand both and live between these two pairs of opposites successfully. This poem teaches a very good lesson to all.

I would like to translate this poem
Perhaps, God made the rose with thorns amidst, to give it more beauty, value and worth! Life without sorrows would be surely too boring and uninteresting! Good poem on Life. Dr John Celes
