Life. Poem by Lizzy Tomlinson

Life.

Rating: 4.0

A baby born and then you grow,
Schooldays next, so you will know,
Childhood, a happy memory,
In a loving family.

Time goes on, wings are spread,
To walk life's path, the road ahead.
Mistakes we make along the way,
A lesson learnt. So they say.

A partner, family has come,
Making it a happy home.
Life's ups and downs, troubles galore,
Just make us who we are, for sure.

Then one day, out of the blue,
God says he has plans for you.
But not on Earth, you have to die,
You gained your wings. Your time to fly.
