Life At Risk Poem by Upendra Majhi

Life At Risk

Rating: 5.0

At 11.35.23second,
someone insinuated and reminded me
of alcoholic drink,
I was at office,
on my seat, engrossed in work,
sending e-mails, calling state capitals,
Amidst this, an idea of indulgence can
intrude into,
what a rot, but the rot is from high rung,
of power, of status,
How much can be taken,
of this disorder and chaos

High rung of power is like rot if there is chaos. Some persons like it but some who are on truth dislike and avoid it. Dear Upendraji, you have so nicely inscribed here with an attractive beginning. Let it be quoted... an idea of indulgence can intrude into, what a rot, but the rot is from high rung, of power, of status, How much can be taken, of this disorder and chaos. Thanks for posting such lovely poem....10

How much can be taken, of this disorder and chaos.... //.... I think an order from 'high rung of power' is an order, after all. The question is whether you want to rot with the rotten system or you want to stem the rot for ever. Thanks.
