A waiting time
Between
What happens and
What happens next?

A time when
All is blank and still
And life goes
On from day to day.

A time that's
Filled with
Emptiness of
Welcome thoughts
That causes
New life to be.

A downtime
Of the consciousness
That
Worked so far to make
Life happen
Meaningfully.

Who is called upon
to fix the downtime life?
To investigate
the cause for the pause
In letting life be for me.
