Life Goes By Poem by Kate W

Life Goes By

Rating: 3.0

She knows who she is
But not where she's going
Sees the waves crash down
And the leaves on winds blowing

Life seems like a crazy race
Everyone rushing
Pretending to keep pace
But who are you bluffing?

We all chase our own dream
Be it love or a career
An adventurous theme
Or to hold someone near

As time rushes past
Just stop and be still
Take in this world so vast
Climb to the top of that hill!

Watch the rivers flow along
And the rise and fall of the seas
Hear the first bird song
And the rustle of the trees

For the sun comes up
And fades every night
So fill up you cup
And live with all your might

Life is broad but life is personal.... I enjoyed the way you talk of nature's beauty with life.. Good work friend. Good work
