Life Guards Poem by Ima Ryma

Life Guards

I was having a nice swim.
I've been swimming all my life.
But then a net turned my dip grim.
I got caught up in tangled strife.
I pushed and pulled to no success.
I knew my chances were not good
That I would get out of this mess.
I tried to pray best as I could.
Guardian angels came found me.
They did their right stuff of rescue.
It wasn't long and I was free,
Back to my swim in the deep blue.

I'm glad I'm here to tell this tale.
Thanks savers from this humpback whale.
