Life Is All That Matters Poem by Francis Duggan

Life Is All That Matters

You may feel suicidal racked by inner strife
But why even contemplate on surrendering your life
The greatest gift that anyone does possess
Many who have lived through tough times have later known of success
Where there is life there is hope happens for to be true
And though at present life may not be easy on you
Much better days of you may well be ahead
You will be of no use to self or to anyone when you are dead
Life at times it is not in any way fair
But never give in to feelings of despair
With day to day living you are struggling to cope
But things for you may well improve if you cling on to hope
And better times of you may be ahead
Life is all that mattersyou will be forever dead.
