This is exactly how it was this morning when I woke up to a pleasant surprise in the form of the much-awaited rain that certainly helped in bringing the soaring temperatures down. And I decided to capture it in words over a cup of coffee!
Cloudy skies,
cool showers -
a miracle from the Heavens,
bring welcome respite
to the parched earth.
Sweet fragrance
of moist earth
wafting across lazily
as a gentle wind blows
early in the morning.
And I sip my coffee
as I listen to
sweet melodies
on the piano.
Can life be this beautiful?
