Life's Innumerable Blessings
A healthy body,
a sound mind,
a few decent clothes
and a small place to live
with your near and dear ones who always care
and a few friends who stand by you
no matter where.
Plenty of sunshine,
a lot of rain,
a rainbow to cheer
and a gentle breeze to soothe you,
blue sky with white clouds,
and greenery all around
with birds and animals everywhere.
Strong limbs,
good vision,
normal hearing,
easy breathing,
sound sleep,
clear thinking and
being positive all the while.
These are some of
life’s innumerable blessings
that we should appreciate
whenever we’re depressed
and filled with despair
and tend to complain
about things that are not there.
