Life Is Beautiful Poem by Soumita Sarkar

Life Is Beautiful

In a moment all can be silent
Still see the rush so violent
We have duties to perform
We have dreams to confirm

I am brought to earth by parents
I am born with a set of principles
I am the one to carry family legacy
I am to fulfill the gap legendary

In a moment all can be silent
Still see the rush so violent
We have duties to perform
We have dreams to confirm

I grow sheltered under a wrap
Where exist no heart in gap
Where mind guides many games
I grow to earn money and fame

In a moment all can be silent
Still see the rush so violent
We have duties to perform
We have dreams to confirm

Blue blood runs in my veins
I stayed away from filthy lanes
God how it happened in May
I was curious to steal a day
From my rules of routine
To join a bunch of teens
LO! A shock awaited me there
LIFE came alive without fear
Laughter was ringing in air
All spoke as if all were dear
I wished I could have something clear
In my royal blood worthy to share

Vain, all my years till now
Never seemed lame...how? ?
Life is beautiful in open
Rules destroy this heaven
Touching the soil and feeling the drops of rain
Counting stars and admiring the rainbow drain
Wishing to see the setting sun in west
Can make you realize living and its zest

In a moment all can be silent
Still see the rush so violent
Stop there where you now stand
Take a step back to grant
Yourself a gift of LIFETIME
Live free to see the beauty of LIFE
